Fresh off their debuts for Trinidad and Tobago in last Wednesday's 0-0 draw with El Salvador, Defence Force defender Keston Williams and W Connection's Kern Cupid share their reactions to the encounter and their feelings on wearing the T&T shirt for the first time. Neither player represented T&T before and have expressed a desire to keep on striving as places on the team for the 2010 World Cup campaign begin going up for grabs.
Cupid was spotted at a previous training game between a US College-based outfit and players vying for selection on the national team for the 2007 Digicel Caribbean Cup back in January at the Ato Boldon Stadium. At the time he was just a guest player on the College team and was continuously monitored by the national coaches. Williams meantime earned a call up for training following his performances for Defence Force in the T&T Pro League. Both players performed reasonably well, playing the full 90 minutes in San Salvador.

The real measure of a man's character is what he would do if he knew he would never be found out.
