Coach Wim Rijsbergen suspended !
By: Shaun Fuentes (TTFF). 

The Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation wishes to advise that Mr Wilhelmus Rijsbergen has been suspended for a period of Six (6) months effective December 4 2007 to June 4 2008 and relieved from all duties of National Coach pursuant to the decision of the Disciplinary Committee of the TTFF dated December 5 2007.
Mr Anton Corneal, previously Assistant Coach of the T&T National Senior Team, will act as head coach until further notice. The Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation also wishes to announce the resignation of Assistant Coach Mr Jan Van Deinsen on medical grounds effective December 31, 2007.
This country's next assignment on the international stage will be a friendly international against Guadeloupe on February 6 at the Queen's Park Oval. T&T will also travel to face Jamaica at the National Stadium in Kingston on March 26,2008. T&T's first World Cup qualifier towards the 2010 Finals will be played in June 2008 against the winner of the Bermuda/Cayman Islands first round tie.

well with Jackula as a FIFA VP, in my opinion it dont look good for Wim.

Lord help Wim. From the time Wim spoke on the Radio about him not being paid for three months I knew his days with Jackula were numbered...

The ONLY surprise is how long it took....I suspect a SETUP.

Addendum: this story so weird I did not want to believe it, but after reading the story I have to ask

news is that wim and a TTFF "official" had an altercation - tv6 sports.

this is pretty much the end of him, if this decision is not reversed very quickly....

rememebr, we got a top class coach in the middle of qualifying last time and still made it.

To the TTFF, we still have a very long time to get our house in order for 2010.

just heard on the TV Sports news that Wim had "An Altercation" with a TTFF offical...

wonder who ....Sam Phillips just resigned....so i just guessing....maybe ( Hopefully) he cuff Camps
who allyuh think it is....and then, we should really wait to hear the TTFF side of the story...or should we??
