can't get to watch the games from work which is a real downer.. not even at a time when i can run away from the office on a lunch hour..

i take in the highlights last night, Gabon keeper was rocking a pum pum shorts.. wtf?

3-1 to CIV. A bit hard on Ghana who weren't that far off it. Dodgy keeper and defence though.

CIV resorted to some butchery @ 1 : 0 to intimidate GHA then dey went to work.Nice execution.
Ghana had the more skillful players and Drogba look like Georgio Chinaglia,Mechanical....an ah bet

I was in Angola a couple times last year, and their music (West African music on the whole), is VERY much like ours... a little soca, a little zouk... very nice.

  The thing is, Kicker, the same can be said for many a beautiful free-kick that we've seen scored over the years. The 'keeper was actually well-positioned.......I eh know what else to say 'bout 'im.  :D
