I just got a call informing me that Delbert Charleau died today. Can anyone confirm this? He played for T&T in de late 40s-50s.

If it is true. RIP General.

He was one of the best T&T Players of all time, hands down. Old Legends like Carlton Franco & Bobby Sookram will salute this master. My father took me to see him in Skinner Park, before a North vs  South game, they played a Master North vs South game and Delbert Charleau played. Talk about a graceful player, with a silky touch.
