James Oliver Vaughan (born 14 July 1988 in Birmingham England) is an English footballer, who currently plays for Everton F.C. He plays as a striker and represents England at Under-21 level. He is also the Premiership’s youngest goalscorer. He is also eligible to play for the Trinidad & Tobago national football team due to his father's heritage.

Thats what I heard also.....and if true he is definitely not eligible. Even if his father/mother was to claim a passport..... he can't. Even if he was, the fact that he still in the England mix means I can't see why he would want to switch allegiances.

there is player who is married to a trinidadian who plays in france and he could not have gotten citizenship.  To be eligible for tnt citzenship if you are an immigrant  you have to live in tnt about 6 years and your dad there 20 so he can go foward for one if he wants
