Jehue seems to be a level-headed guy. Maybe some peeps who are close to the TF fratenity could give us some insights.
Jai, How come the Secondary school sports end in darkness. The meet was in the Savannah?
Jehue is one the most dedicated, level headed and humble person I know. Nothing has gotten to is head I assure you . I see him in training working his socks off and the members of his track club really look up to him. He is an outstanding young man which is in short supply in the republic and when you talk to him he has no airs. You should have seen the under 13 and down children palancing when he won his race ..he is something of a cult hero with the youth.
He is from a humble family and takes his maxi and taxi just like the other youths from Morne coco rd. No big boy thing here ...
The head coach is forever praising ihm yet he is often seated among the peeps at club talks . Just to show how environment helps ...the Club Memphis Pioneers is having its annual thanksgivin service this saturday at guardian bldg in west moorings ...I will be there . It is so important for adults, even for those parents who aren't adults,( could not resist ) to be there for the younger ones.
Jehue has been training using the 400 metrs flat and 110 meters hurdles to sharpen for his pet event the 400 hurdles.
He has this amazing presence on the track ...something akin to Alberto Juantorena ( for the old folks like me ) ..and looks ordinary off it.
About the darkness in de National stadium ...the show ran late and athletes could not run in the dark ...you would think the organisers would have had an arrangement for the stadium lights to go on if such a thing occured ??...anyway next time ..not so ?..dais how we does do it right ?
