LOCAL heavyweight champion Kertson Manswell won by a unanimous decision yesterday in Antwerp, Belgium.

In a lopsided contest, Tobago-born Manswell dominated Tomas Mrazek of the Czech Republic, who has a record of four wins in 35 bouts.

Manwell’s opponent looked overmatched, and he appeared more intent on surviving through the scheduled eight-round bout and, according to match-maker Boxu Potts, virtually ran for the entire fight.

Kerston Manswell is looking forward to his next ring assignment, four days after winning his 21st fight as a heavyweight.

The Roxborough-born fighter outpointed Tomas Mzarek in a non-title fight on Friday in Belgium.

Today, Manswell's promoter Boxu Potts announced the 33-year-old is due to fight on April 24th on the undercard of the Ria Ramnarine versus Etsuko Tada fight.

His opponent however is yet to be named.

Manswell has an unblemished record of 21 and but his critics say his record has been padded by easy fights.

It's ridiculous to have opposition like this go the distance and then talk about the Klitchko brothers. However, I doh blame KM, he can only fight who they put infront of  him.

These results might actually help him. If nobodies are going the distance with him, some of the better fighters might think he isn't too risky.

people laughing at his opponent, Jiselle Salandy was fighting the same kind for years.
