KJ could get to play Valencia if they would bring him on.
Valencia's midfield is too cunning for Stoke, I doh see Stoke getting anything from this game.

Plenty action in this Bilbao - Sporting game.
Sporting decide to sit deep and of course the goal came, now all of a sudden they know how to play.

An all-Spanish final.

I only watched the last few minutes, but felt the passion from the crowd.

Falcao score 2 in the final and in the 80th minute the commentators vex that he ent score a hat-trick yet.
Wide open game. Very entertaining.

Europa Final
« Reply #71 on: May 11, 2012, 04:49:37 PM »
Not sure if anybody ketch the final of the Europa League but dam! At Madrid and in particular Falcao put down some ball. Second straight Europa league win for Falcao, but the two goals against Bilbao, were a must see for any young striker or fottball fan.

Congrats to At Madrid

Missed it and to be honest.....didn't know when it was.

Europa Final used to be a big affair back in the day...even if it played 2nd fiddle to European Cup (CL now).  Now.....is like a poor stepchile.

Thanks for the update Observer and congrats to Atletico.  At least Spain win something  ;D

No problem boss, BTW Slovan tied with Videoton (1-1). Both will have tough return legs for next week although Slovan's task is no doubt easier.

Aktobe pulled the amazing comeback and won 3-0 to take the series (5-4) on aggregate. Primus played the 2nd half. They will face no other but Khaleem Hyland and Racing Genk in the next round.

Peltier's team was eliminated today as they played to a 0-0 draw, and were eliminated on away goals.

Genk also won the second leg today by the same 2-1 margin. Once again, Hyland and Primus played the full game. Primus also picked up a yellow card in the 6th minute.
