As I have been doing for a year now ... (NOTE: prior to him being included in the WC squad) let me take this opportunity to state again: Ramires! Ramires! Ramires!

Any lessons for Trinidad & Tobago from this game? I think so.

Ramires is inconsistent... Looks good at the beginning of the Confed cup... Looked lost toward the end...

On and off during qualifiers, and notably poor in Brazil friendly against Ireland earlier this year.

Coming off the bench limits inconsistency. The dynamism he brings makes a difference. He's only been with the squad a year and you have to admit his upside is very much a plus.

Today's O Globo poll asks: Ramires merece ser titular da seleção? (Should Ramires start). He's attracted 79% of the vote. Interesting question from a serious publication considering that his inclusion would mean the exclusion of Felipe Melo (if Dunga adopts conventional wisdom).

I think he'll bring it. Stay tuned.
