The Emmanuel Callender Thread
« on: July 11, 2011, 08:53:07 AM »
My thoughts on his performances this season, is that he has fallen off. My advice to him and his handlers is to leave HSI and go back to Racers track club, Beg if he has to, because it is clear that the club was the best fit for him and got the best out of him. it is your career , I just want to see you fulfilling the talent that we all know that you have.

Man.....it's a sad state of affairs when you can hear sprinters spikes "over the din of the crowd"
Good run by Michelle Lee Ahye nevertheless.

Emmanuel Callender
Occupation: Track & Field Athlete

Emmanuel Callender is a track and field sprinter from Trinidad.  He was a silver medalist in 2008 as part of the Trinidadian 4x100m relay team.  The qualifying time of 38.26 was the fastest finish of any of the 16 competing countries in the first round.  Callender’s personal bests are 10.16 in the 100 meters and 20.40 in the 200 meters.

Oddly enough Emmanuel’s first passion wasn’t running, it was dancing.  He got his start as a street dancer in Port of Spain, Trinidad, and only later did he take his athleticism from dancing and put it toward running.  Emmanuel still enjoys dancing on the side and likes to work his 59FIFTY into his routines.

Emmanuel is an avid New Era fan and is said to be sporting a New Era cap at all times when he’s not training.
