It would have been nice for him to be on the CAC team. But I am not sure of his age.

Doesn't matter. You're allowed to field up to three players who are born before January 1st 1997.

Interesting how no MLS team has come calling yet.

Bc they are limiting the amount of eligible TT players that reach top flight football, keeper is a key position so they want to keep him at that level of football, it also didn’t help that he didn’t play for the natl team bc the dictator blocked it and also the other 1st string keepers like Jan

Part of the sabotage of our football which also entailed when we got higher or below 50 in FIFA rankings, our sabotage went into full gear

We saw the same trend with England cutting out West Indies players from county cricket

I agree with you and everybody else who says that Greg deserves a call up. Based on his highlights and current form, he also deserves to be in the starting eleven for TT.

Maybe they did and he didn't like the offer. He wouldn't be the first TT player to turn down an MLS offer.

Considering the age and level of football our GKs are playing, I think they should focus on GR and the Danish fellow for the next year (with what few friendlies we have ) and give us a better idea of the mix.

Don't know what more he can do other than keep on performing.

Greg Ranjitsingh signs for Orlando City in the MLS

https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2018/12/19/orlando-city-sc-sign-louisville-city-duo-ranjitsingh-and-smith

TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:Signings

Orlando City SC have signed goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh and defender Kyle Smith from Louisville City, reuniting the pair with head coach James O'Connor, the club announced Wednesday.

Ranjitsingh and Smith won back-to-back USL titles in 2017-18. O'Connor was head coach of Louisville from 2015-18, before being appointed OCSC boss in June.

Ranjitsingh, 25, made 81 appearances in goal and recorded 33 shutouts for Louisville since signing in 2015. He was a four-year starter at Mercer College, playing 81 matches with 363 saves and 27 clean sheets.

Smith, 26, joined Louisville in 2016 and made 95 appearances for the club. In 2018 he played more minutes than anyone else at Louisville City. He attended Transylvania University and left as the team's all-time leader in goals (47), assists (16) and points (110).

James O'Connor will begin his first full season with the club, which conceded a league-record 74 goals in 2018.
THE BEATINGS WILL CONTINUE UNTIL MORALE IMPROVES

I asked DJW why isn't Greg being considered for a T&T call and as usual his respose was. "I dont get involved in team selection, contact Dennis."

Allyuh really want this guy to play under DJW. Allyuh eh read Lasana report on the players complaining about DJW. Some look like abandoning national team football until they get their moneys. Allyuh sure Greg want 300 TT for his national service.

$300 US, not TT.

It really isn't about playing under DJW but about developing a viable long-term relationship with the national team regardless of who is the president of the TTFA. If losing or keeping or getting Greg (or any other player) comes down to who is at the helm of the federation, then that person/those persons should go because football decisions off and on the field ought to be player-centered and team-oriented, rather than about the ego and personality of any administrator(s).

The situation needs to be guided and managed with delicacy and prospective players need to be insulated from the noise of difficult situations that the team has reported experiencing. Without a doubt, it will be a challenging balance to achieve positivity where good faith by key actors is lacking or perceived to be lacking, but positivity must be the yield we get and strive to get.

One hopes that the incentive of Gold Cup participation and international match experience function as magnets to attract those eligible players that are uncomfortable with the dynamics they have seen, read and heard.

Congratulations to Greg on the new opportunity.

I would like to see him on the team. If DJW says it is up to DL, then I have prime property on the waterfront in PoS to sell.
