$300 US, not TT.
It really isn't about playing under DJW but about developing a viable long-term relationship with the national team regardless of who is the president of the TTFA. If losing or keeping or getting Greg (or any other player) comes down to who is at the helm of the federation, then that person/those persons should go because football decisions off and on the field ought to be player-centered and team-oriented, rather than about the ego and personality of any administrator(s).
The situation needs to be guided and managed with delicacy and prospective players need to be insulated from the noise of difficult situations that the team has reported experiencing. Without a doubt, it will be a challenging balance to achieve positivity where good faith by key actors is lacking or perceived to be lacking, but positivity must be the yield we get and strive to get.
One hopes that the incentive of Gold Cup participation and international match experience function as magnets to attract those eligible players that are uncomfortable with the dynamics they have seen, read and heard.
Congratulations to Greg on the new opportunity.
