Ta Lou ran well out of the blocks transitioning through to high knees and running tall. Decent race from MLA she had a better start than in the heats but was just beaten here by Ta Lou's better form.

I dont think Ivory Coast can challenge us yet they have two strong legs but we have 4 solid legs. Great Britain yes but Ivory Coast not yet.

Oh wow we have a battle on hands. I think they should be strong enough, though that would mean knocking over .3s off of our NR to secure it.

Uh oh, we better come good!!

In Mannheim on Friday, Germany's 4x100m women's relay team sent a message out of their own as Tatjana Pinto, Lisa Mayer, Gina Luckenkemper and Rebekka Haase won in 41.62, the quickest time in the world this year as their sprinters raised the tempo for the Olympics with a farewell meeting to remember.

Our 4 top female sprinters (KAB, MLA, Hackett & St Fort/Selvon) have faster overall foot speed than all those other teams besides Jamaica and USA so provided that we make safe and efficient baton exchanges we should be able to beat both Germany and Great Britain in Rio.
The main thing for us to worry about is getting enough relay practice in to ensure we make safe and efficient baton exchanges when under pressure in a real competition environment.

Well done Ato

I suspect that is an error or does Ato have enough power with the IAAF to get our women 4 individual spots in the 100m?

Lol...no mistake. You can take 4 athletes, but only 3 can run. The TTOC has until the 13th to submit the final team. Khalifa is already there for the 4x1, so it's smart , have her as as alternate.
