Stokely Vale back in 2006 Super League
Tobago News

Stokely Vale has officially retained their Super League status for the 2006 season. The club completed its season with a victory against Harvard FC and a loss to Couva FC.

However, after flirting around the Relegation Promotion playoff zone for the latter part of the season, they breathed a sigh of relief at the release of the official standings by the tournament committee last week.

Stokely Vale completed their 22 game schedule with 19 points to finish in ninth position. The other Tobago team, Angostura 1976 Phoenix completed their schedule with 30 points to finish in seventh position. Early in the season they held down third place but some poor performances midway in the season saw them dropping to sixth position before finishing seventh.

The League Champions was Joe Public the FIFA Vice President and CONCACAF president Jack Warner and family owned team.
