“The feeling after announcement of the Trinidad and Tobago Men’s Futsal National team was bitter sweet. Bitter for me because for the past three months the entire group has bonded really well so now where fourteen of the players have been selected to travel and ten remains at home, it pains my heart,” Morris told TTFA Media http://cakeydreamer.co.uk/map.

To those who didn’t make it, I would like to say your efforts never go to waste. Keep working and you will be rewarded in time.

On the squad selection, Morris added “We have five new players coming in and I’m very excited to see them on the international stage and of course we have four players from the team back in 2004 who will bring a wealth of experience to this team. The players have come on very well over the last three months or so since the Caribbean qualifiers and I feel good about our chances. We also have four players coming from the T&T Pro League which is bringing a strong level of organization and professionalism to the team.
“The preparations have gone quite well. Our players have the natural flair and skill to play the small sided game and now we have had the chance to work on the technical and tactical aspect. The enthusiasm is very high in the squad at the moment,” Morris said.
