Working with BP, I started playing at Age 16 with BP, which changed to TESORO TRINTOPEC PETROTRIN. I then moved onto SFL League in 1958-1973, playing against Leagues like SFA, POSPL, NAFL and EAST ST. GEORGE LEAGUE. I was captain of the SFL League for at least five (5) years and as captain we were successful in winning the League Title for four (4) years. Elevated to Captain of the SOUTH TEAM in RED CROSS GAMES against NORTH In 1956 and 1958 we won the FA TROPHY as captain for BP. In 1959, I was called to NATIONAL LEVEL and in 1960, I began to wear the colours of Trinidad and Tobago and played for the country until 1969. During this honored time as a NATIONAL PLAYER, there were many accomplishments in which I shared, played for TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO.
  1. In 1962 I participated in the Regional Tournament in Guyana for SANBACH TROPHY.
  2. In 1965 – Regional Tournament in Haiti for the DUVALIER TROPHY.
  3. Independent Anniversary Celebrations in Jamaica against ARSENAL (England) and HOST TEAM as Opponents.
  4. In 1964 – 1965 CONCAF TOURNAMENTS in HONDURAS against Mexico, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua.
  5. BARBADOS TRIANGULAR TOURNAMENT against Guyana and Host Team.
  6. GOODWILL INTERNATIONAL SERIES:
    • West Indian Tobacco Series against Chelsea and Wolves of England
    • Against Red Devils of Brazil
    • Against Brazilia of BRAZIL YOUTH
    • Against Coventry City England
  7. In 1966, I played in the WORLD CUP QUALIFIER in SURINAM and COSTA RICA under the captaincy of Sedley Joseph.
  8. In 1967, I participated in the PAM AM games in WINNIPEG, CANADA where we (T&T) won a BRONZE MEDAL. Opponents were Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Canada, and Bermuda.
  9. In 1968 – the OLYMPIC QUALIFIER MATCHES against Netherlands and Surinam.
I was nominated for six (6) consecutive years as SPORTS MAN of the YEAR for BP/TESORO.

Nominated PLAYER OF THE YEAR for SFL LEAGUE for three (3) years and South PLAYER OF THE YEAR for two (2) years.

In 1975, I retired from National and Club Football and was elevated to COACH TESORO/PETROTRIN TEAM for five (5) years (1975-1980).

In the later years, I became active with Masters Football, player with BWIA GRADUATES which compromised 1966 WORLD CUP PLAYERS.

Lastly, he was honored on the 19th November, 2006 at the Anniversary Game of the STRIKE SQUAD VS USA game at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Honored as a Former World Cup Pioneer Player.
