Harris hat-trick keeps Strikers perfect

Former Guyanese international Carey Harris fired a hat-trick to lead Harlem Strikers to a 3-0 shut-out of Las Lomas United in the Central Football Association Premier League at the Edinburgh Recreation Ground, on Wednesday night.
Harris opened the scoring in the fourth minute for Strikers to lead 1-0 at the half, before adding further items in the 62nd and 69th minutes in the second match of a double-header. The win was the sixth from as many matches for Strikers to improve to maximum 18 points, four more than Enterprise Youths which won by default on Tuesday night against Flamengo at Hugo Francis Recreation Ground, Woodford Lodge.
In the first match at Edinburg on Wednesday, Cunupia had a similar 3-0 victory over host, Edinburg 500 with a goal each from Roger Ramden (47th), Anthony Noel (66th) and Keston Jackie (79th). On Tuesday, Cap Off Youths whipped KC Perseverance 3-1 while ADL Couva Sports and St Mary’s United drew 0-0, the same result when Perseverance Ball Runners battlede Leeds FC.
