YOUNG LIONS Football Club and Youth Academy hosted their second National Unity Cup Youth Football Tournament 2014 at the Aranguez Savannah which started November 8.

On the opening day Jabloteh defeated Young Lions 2-0 in round one of the Under 14 category.

But, Young Lions were awarded three goals and the victory when it was found that Tunapuna Titans used over-aged players.

And San Juan Central FC also got the points and three goals when Jabloteh failed to line up.

In another under-14 match, P and B Coaching School edged Young Lions 2-1 with goals from Jahiem Granderson and Jamal Bowen .Kalib Cyrus scored the consolation.

Jabloteh beat Titan 3-0 with goals from Romero Williams, Jordan Fergerson and Jeevon Granderson in the under-12 category.

Meanwhile, in game two of the first round Elijah Floyde scored a hat-trick for Young Lions to beat Tunapuna Titans 3-2. Kemar Campbell scored both goals for the losers.

On Sunday, P and B Coaching School whipped Jaboleh 4-2 with goals by Nathan Moore, Fabian Ayers, Jodell Mitchell and Atiba David. Real Gill and Justin Javis got one each for the beaten team.

Tomorrow, the under-17s will be in action from 4 pm with Young Lions facing San Juan and Titans play Mt Hope at 3 pm on Sunday

There will be two under-12 matches on tap, Young Lions against Jabloteh from 9 .30 am while Titans face P and B from 10 .30 am.
