SEVENTEEN clubs, participating in three age groups, will contest the 2011 season of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation's National Youth League, which kicks off today.

17 clubs for National Youth League

The T&T Football Federation launched its  revamp  National Youth League yesterday during a media conference held at Jaffa’s Restaurant, Queen’s Park Oval, Tragarete Road. Announced at the function, this year’s league will feature competition in the Under-13, Under-15 and Under-17 age groups and will be organised by All Sports Promotions. The league will run at a cost of $650,000 which is being provided by Fifa’s “Win in Concacaf with Concacaf” programme.

National Youth League Kicks off

The second Fifa-endorsed National Youth League kicks off tomorrow at various venues, including Waterloo Secondary School in the South, Marvin Lee Stadium in the East and Debe Recreation Ground in the West.
