THE 2011 Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) awards ceremony, which was originally carded to take place in January, will now take place on March 3.

St Anthony’s College concluded an outstanding 2011 season with a 2-0 win over Arima North Secondary, which saw them lift the Coca-Cola National InterCol title at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo, yesterday evening.

The "Dial Dynamos" of Arima North Secondary lived up to their name yesterday with a 3-1 whipping of Carapichaima East Secondary to advance to next week's Coca Cola InterCol final for the first time in eight years.

Two hungry teams—the "Tigers" of St Anthony's College and Presentation College San Fernando—will fight over the second and last spot in the Coca Cola InterCol final today at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain from 4 p.m.

For Arima North Secondary coach Peter Lewis, it is a "virtual final". For Carapichaima East Secondary, it's a step towards redemption.
