CHILDREN FROM California and Dow Village were kept busy for two weeks when Central FC held a free coaching clinic at the Caldrac Ground. The clinic attracted more than two dozen local youngsters including children of employees of Phoenix Park Gas Processors Limited (PPGPL).

Pro League gets $5M

THE Digicel Pro League is set to operate for at least the next two years following recent Government approval of $5 million in government funding. Dexter Skeene, the Pro League’s chief executive officer (CEO) on Saturday confirmed that the local professional league had obtained  funding approval prior to the recent resignation of former Sport Minister Anil Robert, and the firing of the Board of the Sport Company of Trinidad and Tobago (SPORTT).


Alpha grab Jamal Jack

CENTRAL FC'S Jamal Jack has joined Alpha United of Guyana on a six-month loan deal. Jack is a utility player who has played at central defence, right-back and midfield under former Central FC coach Terry fenwick since signing from Rangers in 2013-2014.


WASA seeks to open four point Super League gap

League leader WASA FC will be keen on taking the opportunity to open a four-point gap ahead of second-placed Petrotrin Palo Seco, when the club hosts a winless Real Maracas at WASA Ground, St Joseph, from 5 pm today, in one of three TTFA National Super League matches on the cards.


Las Lomas edge Rangers 2-1 in preseason

St Ann’s Rangers Football Club went down 2-1 at Las Lomas United on Saturday in their first pre-season warm-up match. Kennedey Isles netted a penalty as Rangers FC opened the scoring after Chad Clinton was brought down in the area and led till the half-time break.
