Without doubt the youth teams of San Juan Jabloteh felt on top of the world on Sunday 30 March, defeating Police FC 17-0, 4-1 and 2-0 at the Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18/Reserve divisions respectively in Round One Match Day Four.

However North East Stars, 3-1 and 2-1 winners over W Connection in the U-14 and U-16 divisions respectively at the Ojoe Road Recreation Ground, are standing at the top in both divisions.

While Connection, who pulled back a 2-1 win against the Stars at the U-18/Reserve division, remained at the top of the respective standings.

Jabloteh’s Kesean St. Rose led the U-14s scorers with a handful, at the San Juan North Secondary School Ground, netting in the 12th, 27th, 55th, 63rd and 64th minutes.

Jodel Brown grabbed a hat-trick (46th, 47th and 54th minutes) while André Raymond (17th and 26th minutes), Nicholas Romany (33rd and 37th minutes) and Jamal Mathias (67th and 68th minutes) picked up a pair of goals each, and Oliver Emmauel (32nd minute), Darrian Parks (57th minute) and Kyle Thomas (61st minute) also got their names on the score-sheet in the lopsided match.

Police had a flash of hope at the U-16 division when Isaiah McLean scored inside the first minute of play.

However his side later conceded four goals to lose that contest.

Dereem Daniel (30th and 52nd minute) scored twice for Jabloteh netting on either side of the half, following Anthony Samuel (15th minute) equaliser and before Jeankeon Alexander (71st minute) wrapped up the scoring.

At the U-18/Reserve division second half goals by Akeem Garcia (55th minute) and Jabari Cummings (80th minute) completed the clean sweep by Jabloteh.

Point Fortin Civic also enjoyed maximum wins against visiting Central FC on Sunday, defeating the young “Sharks” 5-0, 3-0 and 2-1 at the U14, U16 and U18/Reserve divisions respectively.

Also on Sunday Caledonia suffered a 7-1 defeat against Defence Force at the U-14 division but were 1-0 and 4-1 winners in the U-16 and U-18/Reserve divisions.
