CUNUPIA FC saw their 100-percent record halted last Thursday, as they suffered a shock 1-0 loss to second-placed Edinburgh 500 FC at the New Settlement Recreation Ground.
Action was in the Central Football Association (CFA) CRIL-sponsored Premier League.
Yaseem Rivas found the back of the net for Edinburgh in the 51st minute, who narrowed the gap between themselves and Cunupia to eight points.
Two games were contested on October 21.
At the Hugo Francis Recreation Ground, Perseverance United slammed Enterprise Life Sport 5-0, with items from Rodney Rouse (sixth), Andy Garcia (sixth), Bryant Constantine (16th), Akil London (26th) and Stephen Garcia (88th).
And Xtra Foods Chaguanas FC strolled to a 5-1 triumph over Arawak Combined FC at the New Settlement Ground.
Kerwin Beckles netted a second half double (68th and 78th), after earlier strikes from Jamal Lucas (eighth), Sean Salandy (12th) and Neon O’Garro (20th). Asiah Williams (70th) got the consolation for Arawak.
