This country's national under 17 footballers continued their preparations ahead of the CONCACAF under 17 final round world cup qualifiers with a 3-2 victory over pro league team Ma Pau SC at the Marvin Lee Stadium in Macoya yesterday.
Ma Pau already a goal up should have doubled their lead here but this effort from inside the 18 yard went over bar.

They would however extend their lead before the half, miscommunication from the under 17's defence allows Sean Cooper to get a final touch on the ball and send it into the goal.

2-0 Ma Pau at the half.

At the resumption the Pro League outfit came close extending their but the header went over bar.

National midfielder Anthony Wolfe then had a great chance to extend his team's putting Ma Pau three up however his shot went agonisingly wide.

At the other end Shadon Winchester had one of the Young Warriors few chances hitting this shot over bar.

Winchester would make up for his earlier miss rising above the Ma Pau defence to head in from the corner.

The U17's could teach their senior counterparts a thing or two about fighting to the end this as they equalised through this one time effort from Ross Russell Jr.

They sealed their come from behind victory when Captain Jerrel Britto capitalised on some poor Ma Pau marking to beat the keeper at his near post and seal a three to two victory.
