LOWLY Dathea FC held Premier League Group “B” leaders Tunapuna Titans to a 0-0 draw in action in the UWI Employers Super Football League. Despite just getting one point from the match, the Titans (nine points) were still ahead in Group “B” with Starhouse FC second. But Petit Bourg FC moved six points clear in the First Division Group 1 when they shut out St Charles Strikers 3-0 with goals from Kaseem Karim, Raphael Sorzano and Christopher Beharrysingh.

Team Real Madrid emerged as play-off champions in the North-East Zone of the Guinness Street Football Challenge after defeating Caledonia FC 4-3 on penalty kicks on Saturday. The North Zone segment of the tournament, played at the Lower 6th Avenue Basketball Courts was the largest of the four zonal tournaments already played with 16 teams challenging for the $30,000 grand prize. Unfortunately, other teams hoping to register on time were turned away due to the overwhelming turnout.
