Diamond United football club will battle Madingo in the semi-finals of the Barrackpore Sports Association football series on November 17 at Carrat Hill, Barrackpore.
The very popular series which has seen crowds in the hundreds turning out has reached the semi-finals stage and Diamond booked a place with a 3-0 drubbing of Tabaquite United.
They would meet Madingo who clipped Southern Sales by a 2-0 margin. Diamond will however start as favourites in this clash based on their dominant performance in the league thus far. They have on-board former college standouts Atiba McKinght and Anthony Parris.
The other semi-final will pit Strange Ville against Lower Barrackpore Angels. Strange Ville with Clifton Gomez on board will face Barrackpore Angels who would have the crowd support in their favour.
Strange Ville had to eke out a 2-1 extra-time win over Valley Line, while Lower Barrackpore edged RKO Strikers 1-0.
