The Elite team lived up to its name, lifting the OAS Cup last Sunday at Debe High School at the first OAS Football Fete Match tournament, as they beat Steel Benders 2-0 in the final.

Elite got goals from Keston Grant and Vladimiro Jose Flambo Guerra in the seven-a-side competition decider, securing bragging rights in the process.

Keston Grant was MVP of the tournament, where two engraved Neymar T-shirts were also raffled.

In all, the competition featured ten teams, each with seven players and four substitutes, from the various worksites of the Debe to Point Fortin Highway: Golconda United, Golconda Warriors, Elite, Foreshore Boys, Berridge Trace United, Berridge Trace Strikers, Scrape Up, Steel Benders, Scaffolders FC and De Bulldozers.
