Second half goals by Keon Roach, Jeremy Gill and Kevorn Thomas helped Carib to stay in with a fighting chance of catching the frontrunners in the Premership Division of the Eastern Football Association on Tuesday, when it defeated T&T Air Guard 3-1.
After a goalless first half, Roach opened the scoring in the 49th minute. His goal was followed by Gill in the 63rd and Thomas in the 88th. Dale Assoon netted the consolation goal for Air Guard in the 70th.
Meanwhile, Real Maracas and Malabar FC will clash in the FA Trophy final on Sunday at Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya, from 3.30 pm.
