Kwesi Alleyne was named Player of the Tournament as the Queen’s Park Cricket Club staged its National Schools Football Festival at the Queen’s Park Oval, Port-of-Spain, on July 2.

Alleyne took home the Kenwyne Jones Award for his success on the day-long event.

And he was also the Most Valuable Player of the Boys Under-16 category, and the Leading Goal Scorer for St Anthony’s College “A” team.

The St Anthony’s outfit topped the Boys Under-16 section, followed by Trinity College and St Augustine Secondary.

And the victors prevailed in two other individual awards — Ronaldo James was the Best Goalkeeper and Brian Smith was the Best Coach.

1. Montgomery Government Primary, Tobago; 2. Vance River RC; 3. Dinsley Trincity Government.

Most Goals: Dennecia Prince (Vance River).

Best Goalkeeper: Sheneika Samuel (Montgomery Government Primary).

Most Valuable Player: Dennecia Prince (Vance River).

Best Coach: Clyde Alleyne (Montgomery Government Primary).

Boys Under-13 Division:

1. La Brea RC; 2. Arima Boys’ RC; 3. Carenage Boys’ Government.

Most Goals: Kellon Hoyte (La Brea RC) and Isiah Lee (Arima Boys’ RC).

Best Goalkeeper: Peter Scotland (La Brea RC).

Most Valuable Player: Kellon Hoyte (La Brea RC).

Best Coach: Carlos Nathaniel (La Brea RC).

Girls Under-16 Division:

1. Debe Secondary; 2. Bishop Anstey High; 3. El Dorado Secondary.

Most Goals: Tricia Haynes (Bishop Anstey).

Best Goalkeeper: Reann Montano (Debe Secondary).

Most Valuable Player: Shernelle Arjoon (Debe Secondary).

Best Coach: Arnold Murphy (Debe Secondary).
