The newly-promoted Central Football Association (CFA) club were second from bottom in the first week of July, but have now climbed to fifth in the ten-team Super League after winning three matches in a row.

The latest victory came on Wednesday on the training ground at the Hasely Crawford Stadium where they got the better of another new side, Westside Super Starz FC, by a 3-0 margin.

Eagles have also beaten Real Maracas (1-0) and St Francois Nationals (2-0) during that run.

On Wednesday, the teams were evenly poised for half of the match, until Eagles pulled away in the second half.

Ian James (64th & 86th) was responsible for two of their goals, while Jamal Antoine (80th) got the other.

Tobago's Stokely Vale will spend a second straight week atop the Super League standings following a 3-0 win over Real Maracas.

Tyronne Manning (14th), Keron Phillips (52th) and Dominic McDougall (90th) got the goals.

Previous leaders WASA dropped to third when playing out a third consecutive home draw, after opening the season with three victories.

WASA must have thought they were on the way to full points when leading the match through a 72nd minute Glen Walker goal. But, just two minutes from the end, Jessie Alexis (88th) pulled bottom club St Francois Nationals level at 1-1.
