Kaihiam Thomas scored a hat-trick and teammates Real Gill, Daniel David, Tyrique Sutherland, De Shawn Strong and John Jardel added a goal each on Saturday to give San Juan Jabloteh an 8-0 win over Defence Force in the Under-13 division in Round One Match Day Eight of the Malta Carib 2015 Youth Pro League.

The win, Jabloteh U-13s eight in as many matches this season, kept the Anthony Wickham coached-youngsters perfect at the top of the U13 standings with 24 points to keep ahead of second placed Caledonia AIA (21 points), 2-1 winners over third placed W Connection (16 points).

Thomas scored in the first minute of play and completed his hat-trick with goals in the 22nd and 34th minutes but interrupted by goals from Gill, David and Sutherland in the 12th, 24th and 28th minutes respectively, while Strong and Jardel scored in the 40th and 43rd minutes.

In the Under-15 division, Kesean St Rose scored in the 90th minute to salvaged a late 1-1 draw for Jabloteh after Defence Force had led for most of the match with a 13th minute Darius Dickson goal.

The result kept the Jabloteh U15s undefeated after eight matches, with 7 wins and 1 draw, and 22 points at the top of the table while North East Stars, 4-1 winners over St. Ann’s Rangers on Saturday, are second with 17 points.

Trinidad and Tobago Under-17 footballer John-Paul Rochford (42nd and 44th minutes) scored twice in the first half for North East Stars while Devon Charles (37th minute) and Keishawn Hackshaw (55th minute) had a goal each.

The 15-year-old John-Paul, brother of Central FC top-flight team midfielder and former Trinidad and Tobago Youth World Cup player Jean-Luc Rochford, is also one of three T&T youth footballers that have been selected for a one-week Digicel Kickstart Academy in Barbados in October to undergo training under coaches from English Premier League champions Chelsea FC.

Stars, who were defeated 3-0 in the U13 division by Rangers, defeated the St. Ann’s club 5-0 in the Under-17 division to stay atop the division standings with 18 points but closely followed by Jabloteh, who are only in second with a lesser goal-difference.

Isiah Lee (8th and 52nd minutes) scored a double and Renaldo Francois (15th minute) and Malick Mitchell (78th minute) scored one each, separated by an own goal in the 37th minute as the Sangre Grande U17 Stars cruised to victory.

Meanwhile a goal each from Matthaeus Granger (12th minute), Romario Villafana (37th minute) and Jeankeon Alexander (69th minute) gave Jabloteh a 3-0 win over Defence Force.
