W Connection and Jabloteh meet again.

They needed penalties, but when the dust settled at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium last evening, local football giants CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh and Vibe CT 105 W Connection are through to the Courts Pro Bowl Final again. This would be the 3rd consecutive meeting of the two local giants in the Pro Bowl ”W Connection prevailed back in 2004”and Jabloteh ran away with the title last year.

Superstar Rangers and Defence Force moved into the quarterfinals of the Courts Pro Bowl knockout competition on Tuesday evening at the Larry Gomes Stadium after they posted contrasting victories over Tobago United and Starworld Strikers respectively. In the nights first match Tobago United must be still reeling in shock, after they surrendered a 3-0 lead at the half, with strikes from Ansil Elcock, Noel Williams and skipper Dwayne Jack.

San Juan Jabloteh were crowned the Pro Bowl champions for a second straight year running, as they some how managed to come back from a two goal deficit to sneak past W Connection 3 -2 in sudden death penalty kicks. The match played at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium marked the second time in two years that both teams have contested the finals.

This year's winner of the T&T Pro Bowl will take away as much as $150,000. This was announced yesterday at the launch of the 2006 edition of the winner-take-all knockout competition, which is being contested by the ten clubs competing in the Trinidad and Tobago Pro League.
