Aaron Baptiste and Nicholai Orr netted two goals each as Tunapuna Boys’ RC defeated Dinsley Trincity Government 5-0 in the Under-15 Division final of the Tunapuna Region National Primary School Football League, on Thursaday.
Revaldo Fortune chipped in with the other goal for Tunapuna at the Eddie Hart Ground, Tunapuna to advance to the St George East Zonal final against Bon Air High school.
In its penultimate zonal match, Dinsley clobbered Tunapuna Government 13-0 on Tuesday. Tunapuna led by six goals from Tyrese Spicer and a hat-trick from Sherwin Williams.Darius Dickson, Kadeem Hyater, Omari Melville and Jabari Williams added the others.
However, the girls of Dinsley Trincity have managed to keep up their fortune.After wining the girls’ title in the Tunapuna Region, they qualified for the St George East semifinal against the loser between Barataria Gov’t Primary and Maracas Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) on Tuesday at Trincity Grounds.
In the first match, Selena Marcelle and Kedie Johnson were on target for Dinsely girls’ in a 2-0 win over Bon Air Primary while Johnson scored the lone goal in a 1-0 victory against La Horquetta North Primary.
