CLUB SANDO conditioner Sairon Joseph is the newest trainer on the job with the Trinidad and Tobago senior men’s national team currently preparing for the 2014 Caribbean Cup. Joseph has moved up from the national Under-20 team where he worked with coach Derek King, who is senior assistant on the senior team.

A PTI instructor with the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force, Joseph, 26, is a past Carapichaima East Secondary student. He has worked with his former school since 2012, the same year he did the PTI instructor course. Joseph has also completed courses in sport massage therapy, another with the Aerobic Fitness Association of America and seminars on training and massage therapy as well.

He sees joining the Soca Warriors support staff as a major career achievement. “It a nice experience for me coming into the senior team after working with the under-20 and so on,” Joseph said. “Working with the Under-20 and then, coming up to the higher level, is an excellent achievement for me.”
