Cornell Glen planned to call national head coach Leo Beenhakker to discuss whatever plans the Dutch-born coach may have for him with the national team.

Glen, of Columbus Crew, last played for T&T at the 2005 CONCACAF Gold Cup but has not been able to earn a pick since and is now eager to make a contribution once requested.

“I’m hoping that I can discuss my future with the team because it was an amazing thing to experience the feeling after the win over Mexico,”Glen said. “I even won some bets with one of the Guatemalan players in the club. It was a fantastic result for us.”

The former FC Dallas player said he has not been enjoying the best of times with Crew which is expected to name a new head coach later this month. “I had a problem with an archilles injury and even though I was getting some playing time I wasn’t up to my best but now things are looking better and hopefully I can catch myself again,” Glen added.
