The Football Federation has started to dispatch its allotment of 10,769 World Cup tickets. General secretary Richard Groden said yesterday that the distribution started since last Thursday.

Groden revealed that the Federation was dealing with the players, their immediate families, coaches requests, sponsors and executive members of the Federation.

The T&TFF received over 40,000 requests for tickets for the three Group B matches in which the local team will be involved.

According to Groden successful applicants were being informed of the status of their applications.

Groden advised applicants to follow the schedule as failure to do so will result in the loss of the approval.

Applicants must submit their name, passport number, date of birth and nationality and pay 50 per cent of the cost of the tickets by tomorrow, with the final payment due by March 2.

A second allocation of tickets will be made on Friday, where the people who have failed to make their initial payment will be removed from the list.
