Trinidad and Tobago now has a "Rhino" in the city of Dortmund, Germany.

The Rhino which reflects Trinidad's culture, was added to the city's collection of Rhinos which bears the names and national flags of all the other countries that have played in the World Cup.

The Rhino was painted by well known local artist Che Lovelace, Barbara Ann Look-Loy said yesterday.

Look-Loy is one of the directors of Trip Hop which is producing a television travelling series aimed at preparing football fans for their trip to Germany to see support the national team the Soca Warriors. She said that when her company's production team visited Germany in February, "we noticed that these rhinos (erected) all over the city. And we thought that what we should do is get one as it is a way to leave our mark in Germany even after the World Cup comes to an end."

She said that they were elated when the city gave approval for Trinidad to put up its own Rhino.

Look Loy described it as "different from the other (Rhinos) because it reflects our culture and it was painted by our own local artist".

Look-Loy also informed the Express that a six-part television travelling series titled We Reach" would be aired to "help prepare local fans" for their trip to Germany.

"Apart from travelling information we would be providing information on hotels, restaurants, general expenses, the services that are available over there. We'll also provide information on the stadium where they will be going to watch the match among other things," Look-Loy said.

The World Cup begins on June 9 in Munich, Germany.
