Defending Secondary Schools Football League South Zone girls champions Debe Secondary started their 2013 campaign with a 3-2 win over Point Fortin East in their opener in Debe on Thursday.
They will take on Fyzabad Secondary in their second game of the season tomorrow in Fyzabad from 3 p.m.
St Francois Girls College, the 2012 North Zone winners, had less of a stellar start, being held to a 3-3 draw with St Joseph Convent at St Francois in their opening match on Thursday.
Also in the North, St Francois Holy Name Convent tomorrow. Holy Name drew 0-0 with Providence Girls in their opener on Thursday.
In the East, San Juan North hammered El Dorado East Secondary 6-0, while St George’s College edged Arima North Secondary 2-0.
The clash between St Augustine and Toco Secondary was postponed to next week.
