Point Fortin East Secondary have kept in stride with their promise to dethrone Secondary Schools Football League South Zone girls champions Debe High School when they defeated Holy Faith Convent 4-0 on Sunday at Penal.
Camille Charles scored a hat-trick for the title contenders, who, along with Debe have a perfect record of four wins in four matches.
The teams will have a showdown tomorrow, with the winners moving on to the National League knockout.
Debe eased past Pleasantville Secondary 3-0, while Point Fortin West Secondary beat Fyzabad Anglican 1-0.
In the East, the race remains intriguing, as Arima North Secondary beat San Juan North 2-1 to move into second place, rebounding from a slow start with a loss and a draw in their first two matches.
El Dorado East Secondary are atop the East standings despite St Augustine being a no-show in last week's scheduled encounter. They beat Toco 1-0.
And in the North, St Francois Girls College need just a draw in their final match to clinch the Zone, after thumping St Joseph's Convent Port of Spain 4-1, through a double by Asha Jones, and one goal each from Della Joseph and Monique Gomez.
Signal Hill Secondary lead Tobago after beating Scarborough Secondary 2-0, and Bishops High School edged Speyside 1-0.
