Presentation College San Fernando will be looking to complete the South Zone double when they face Shiva Boys Hindu College in the Coca Cola Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) South Zone InterCol final at Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella from 4 p.m. today.

The defending champions, Pres, have swept aside all comers in the zone to win the League title and have also beaten Shiva Boys' twice this season.

Today's match will also be a replay of last year's final which saw Pres stroll past Shiva to win the crown.

In 2011, Pres went into the InterCol final having lost the South Zone league title on the final day of the competition.

This year, however, Pres comfortably won the league and will be confident of beating their opponents for a third time this year. Their coach Shawn Cooper said his team was a bit frustrated by the events of the previous week when they had to wait for the result of the zonal semi-final replay between Pleasantville Secondary and Shiva Boys'.

Cooper said his players were hyped up for the final which was originally scheduled for November 21.

"We were training on Tuesday (November 20) not knowing who we were playing in the final. We were all rearing to go on Wednesday but because of the protest, we had to wait. The boys rose to a climax and then had to simmer down again...it was a bit taxing mentally. It was a bit frustrating but I think the boys will be ready on Monday," said Cooper.

"We are quietly confident as usual but sometimes you play well and don't get the ball in the back of the net, reference the game against Caps (Carapichaima East Secondary). The players have had that experience and they will be coming all out to win," he added.

East Zone winners Caparichaima beat Pres on penalties in the Big Five national League final.

Cooper said: "It (the loss to Caps) was unfortunate. Goals win matches and we need to go out and put in our chances on Monday."

Shiva Boys', however, are not intimidated by recent results against Pres.

Shiva coach, ex-Trinidad and Tobago defender Dexter Francis said they are prepared and believes the key to winning today is wanting it more than the opponents.

He said Shiva have not won anything this year and the players want a piece of silverware before the end of season. The coach also noted that his players were no strangers to playing in finals having made it to the South Zone InterCol final for the last three years.

In 2010, they were defeated by Naparima College. In 2011 it was Pres and this year they will be hoping to go all the way and win their first InterCol crown.

Today's winners will move on to face St Anthony's College in the national semi-final on Wednesday at Manny Ramjohn Stadium.
