Presentation College San Fernando was the last team to advance to the semifinal of the Coca Cola Inter Col competition from the South Zone after they hammered Princes Town 8-0 yesterday in a one-sided affair at the Naparima College Ground, Lewis Street, San Fernando.
Double strikes from Jordan Riley in the 27th and 80th; James Alexis-Leeyaw in the 19th and 42nd and Omri Beard with items in the 70th and 75th did the trick for Presentation, as they left tears in the eyes of the south Champion Division winners who were optimistic of creating an upset after failing to qualify for the Premier Division of the Shell/First Citizens Secondary Schools Football League next year.
The San Fernando boys also got goals from Tyrel Williams and Kareem Riley in the rout.
Action continues tomorrow with a North Zone clash between Malick and St Mary’s College at the Queen’s Royal College Ground, Serpentine Road from 3.30pm.
