There’s no doubt that the future of sport lies with our young people. That’s why local manufacturer Genethics Pharmaceuticals Limited has decided to embark on a series of donations to school football teams.
“We want to support our young players, who will represent us in World Cups to come,” says Managing-Director Anthony Aboud.
“They are the stars of tomorrow, and they need all the help they can get from corporate TT.”
Genethics has put together substantial “care packages” for schools, featuring their two top-selling sports products — Sports Balm and Pain Freeze Gel.
So far, donations have been received by St Mary’s College, St Anthony’s College, Presentation College, Chaguanas; Presentation College, San Fernando, Naparima College; Arima Government Secondary; and Signal Hill Senior Composite in Tobago.
What’s interesting is that the two products are 100 percent manufactured in Trinidad and Tobago.
“We wanted to recognise the youth of the nation and support local sport with products developed and made in TT,” said Aboud.
Sports Balm is a pain relief ointment that provides quick relief of joint and muscular pain and stiffness from sprains, strains and bruises while Pain Freeze Gel relieves muscular pain and spasms and is an excellent warm-up rub, both are perfect choices for sports men and women.
Genethics plans to continue its support of youth footballers as they endeavour to bring recognition to Trinidad and Tobago.
