Following a lengthy break to facilitate the senior women’s national team training programme, the Women’s League Football (WoLF) Premier Division competition will continue today with three matches, comprising teams which are not affected by the national team’s tour of England.

A major change has been made to the fixtures, with the withdrawal of the Women’s National Under-17 team which has to shift its focus on the upcoming CFU Under-17 qualifying competition.

The team, since starting its first ever Wolf campaign, saw a mix of results, which started with a string of losses, before gaining momentum to record consecutive wins. The Under-17 team lost its first two matches of the second round, and will see the remaining fixtures defaults.

Current league runner-up Trincity Nationals, which sits a point behind leader Real Dimension, will travel to the Dibe Recreation Ground, Long Circular Road, St James, where the club will face Step by Step from 4.15 pm.

A win will see Nationals take the top spot, but it leaves Real Dimension with two matches in hand. The First Division Big-Four competition, which is a qualifying competition for the Premier Division has been postponed.
