The Women’s League Football (WoLF) competition is in its final stages, as the Big Eight competition kicked off on Sunday, with Real Dimension and Tobago FC advancing to the semi-final stage of the competition.

Real Dimension are edging closer to the title but were made to work in their quarter-final clash at the Edinburgh 500 Recreation Ground, as they beat Point Fortin Civic 2-1 to march on to the last four.

Tobago FC had no such problem, though, as they put six past La Brea at Caroni Savannah Road to romp into the semi-final round.

QPCC were scheduled to play St Augustine FC in what promises to be a cracker. However, their match on Saturday at the Patna Grounds in Diego Martin was postponed due to the stormy weather.

QPCC will now play the “Green Machine” today at the same ground, with kick-off scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Patna Grounds will once again be treated to quarter-final action, as Diego Martin take on Petrotrin on Saturday, rounding off the quarter-final stage of the WoLF Big Eight competition.
