T&T’s Under-17 women’s team and San Juan Jabloteh will be seeking their second straight Premier Division win when matches in the 24th Women’s League Football hosted by the T&T Women’s Football Association continues today from 4.15 pm. Coming off an astonishing 8-1 triumph over Real Dimension led by a hat-trick from Patrice Arden-Campbell, the national Under-17 women’s team will come up against Petrotrin at the St Mary’s Village Ground, Carapichaima.

The local Under-17s, coached by Norwegian Even Pellerud, are using the league as part of their preparations for next year’s Fifa Under-17 Women’s World Cup here in T&T, while the Oil-women were on a first-round match bye.
In today’s other Premier Division encounter, Joe Public and Real Dimension square off at Gilbert Park, Couva from 4.15 pm. The match between San Juan Jabloteh and Tobago has been postponed.

logoFour matches are scheduled for the First Division, with Sweaters Touring Team, University of the West Indies (UWI) and Young Hearts all hoping to maintain 100 per cent winning records. UWI, who edged Defence Force 3-2 in their opener, will welcome Malick City to thir grounds at St Augustine for a 4.15 pm meeting while Sweaters and Young Hearts do battle at Cocoyea Recreation Ground, San Fernando at the same time.

In the two other matches, Trincity Nationals will meet Mayaro Spurs at Eddie Hart Ground, Tunapuna at 4.15pm and North Coast will take on Point Fortin Pioneers at the Maracas Recreation Ground from 4 pm.
