Goal City and Sidey’s FC set up an all Premier Division final in the Tobago Football Association FA Trophy competition on Saturday after registering hard fought semifinal victories at the Cyd Gray Sporting Complex, Roxborough, on Tuesday night.

In the opener, Kerlon Ferguson netted in the 17th minute and Akini Ferguson scored eight minutes before half-time for Goal City to lead 2–0 at the half against Earlbrokes.

The second-half proved to be a much tighter contest with Desron Dillon pulling back a goal for Earlbrokes in the 85th minute, but it was not enough to deny Goal City a place in tomorrow’s (Saturday) final at Roxborough from 7 pm.

The second contest between Sidey’s FC and Roxborough Lakers failed to produce a goal in regulation time after which, Sidey’s prevailed 5–4 on penalty-kicks.

Prior to the final, Lakers and Earlbrokes will lock horns in the FA third placed playoff with the winner advancing to the T&T Football Association FA trophy competition, which kicks off later this year.
