YOUTH ST ARS shut out Bethel United 3-0 to leapfrog Sidey’s and regain pole position in the Premier Division of the Tobago Football Association (TFA).

Kalid Kent fired home a hattrick of goals, scoring in the 48th, 50th and 55th minutes while Raoul Trotman completed the rout with a 90th minute strike in Wednesday’s game at Mt Pleasant Ground to take their points tally to 32.

But the men from Speyside, already winners of the FA Cup, kept up their challenge to the Youths beating Black Rock 2-1 in the later game at the Mt Pleasant Ground to trail by one point on the standings.

Prolific goal scorer Pavel Warrick shot home in the 20th for a 1-0 halftime lead and added another goal in the 61st for Sidey’s before Atiba Roberts grabbed a consolation in the 82nd minute.

Over at Goodwood, Roxborough Lakers and Earlbrokes played to a 1-1 draw. Cyd Gray netted a 13th minute penalty to give the Roxborough team the lead only for Henson Charles to fire in, also from the penalty spot in the 75th minute for his team to get a share of the points.

Golden Lane dumped Georgia 3-0 in the late game at Goodwood with goals from Jabari Carrington in the 42nd minute, Kyron Grant in the 72nd and Tyrone Manning in the 90th, to keep within striking range of the leaders on 28 points.
