SIDEY’S put a big dent into Stokely Vale’s aspirations of retaining the Premier League title in the Tobago Football Association.

The Sidey’s men produced their best football this season to shut out The Vale 2-0 on Sunday, lifting themselves into third position and dropping the champs to eight points adrift of league leaders Georgia FC.

Georgia needed just the one goal from Deon Orr to see off St Clair’s Coaching School to move to 41 points from their 17 games.

On Friday, St Clair’s Coaching School drubbed Earlbrokes 5-0 with Keon Price scoring a hat-trick and Carron Williams and Kirsten Benjamin getting the other goals.

Roxborough Lakers whipped Classic Tours Goodwood United 3-0 on goals by Devon Daniel, Davarel McPherson and Kim Harris.

Other results: Friday — HILLS UNITED (2) Warren Butler, Eustace Stewsart vs CHARLOTTEVILLE UNIFIERS (1) Kevin McKenna.

Sunday — EARLBROKES (2) Deon Thomas, Tyrone Manning vs BETHEL UNITED (1) Kurt Cadiz; CASTARA RETREATS GOAL CITY (2) Akini Ferguson, Kenyon Manswell vs DOMINION SS GOLDEN LANE (0).
