ST ANN’S RANGERS kept their lead atop the standings in the Oasis Youth Pro League Under-18 category following a comfortable 2-0 triumph over Caledonia AIA on Sunday in Round One Match Day Three action.
Xavier Rajpaul (43rd minute) and an own goal (67th) were enough to see Rangers maintain their perfect record with three wins in as many games.
W Connection are hot on Rangers’ heels, in second place, with a 2-0 triumph over Defence Force to claim their third successive win. But Connection trail Rangers by less goals scored.
North East Stars earned a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Police to cement third spot on the points table.
Shakiyl Phillip but Police ahead after 20 minutes but North East rallied with items from Tevin Figaro (62nd) and Aquil Campbell (79th).
And TTEC registered the biggest win in the group, by a 4-1 margin over San Juan Jabloteh.
Angel Williams (seventh), J’Van Pontiflet (32nd), Mickell Charles (38th) and Ricardo John (76th) were the goal-getters for TTEC while Jabloteh got their consolation from Garvin Samaroo (68th).
