THE START of the 2012-2013 TT Pro League has been scheduled for September 14, according to an advertisement which was recently uploaded on the League’s website.
The season was originally due to begin this Friday (September 7) but, due to the uncertainty of Central FC’s application, plus the fact that FIFA World Cup qualifiers (involving Guyana) will take place from September 7-11, it was decided to push back the league’s starting date by one week.
While Central FC are set to complete their application payments this week, W Connection will be preparing to defend their title, against fellow CONCACAF Champions League participants Caledonia AIA, the new-look North East Stars, Defence Force, St Ann’s Rangers and Police.
